Mary has worked in the practice for almost 40 years, having given most of her adult life to her job here.
She is held in the highest regard among her peers at the practice for her dedication, strength and stability. Her role has been instrumental to the success of the practice.
Mary has juggled her working life, with bringing up a family and playing the odd game of golf! She is well known in the area and is always a familiar welcoming face for our patients.
Carmel Murrin is a hard-working dental nurse who has been with the practice for many years.
Having first joined the practice in 1996, she is an extremely experienced nurse with a loving and caring nature.
A real lady who always has a smile on her face, Carmel radiates positivity in abundance. Carmel is well respected in the practice for her patience and kindness and is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Niamh qualified with a distinction in Dental Nursing from LYIT in 2019. She began working at Ready Steady Smiles in September 2019 and she loves her job!
Niamh’s favourite aspect of her job as a dental nurse is helping anxious patients have the most positive experience possible while in the practice.
Niamh’s favourite areas of dentistry include restorative, surgical and cosmetic.
During her time off she enjoys spending time with friends, family and exploring Donegal.
I am Liz Madden from Stranorlar. I have been working here at Ready Steady Smiles since 1995 after returning from London where I had also worked in a busy dental practice for a number of years.
I was given great training and support here at the practice and I gained my certificate in dental nursing. I was fortunate to be employed in this amazing practice with a highly skilled team of dentists, led by Dr. Bonner, and a great team of colleagues.
Twenty five years on and I continue to enjoy the variety, the challenges and successful outcomes that every day brings and also meeting our wonderful patients.
I have seen the amazing transformation in the practice with Dr. Bonner undertaking Implant treatment and the new Cerec same day treatments.

My name is Aine Hourihane, I studied Dental Nursing at LYIT graduating with distinction in May 2020. Having carried out my work in Ready Steady Smiles, I was offered full time employment upon graduation which I was delighted to accept.
I love the challenge of working in such a busy practice and enjoy all aspects from restorative dentistry to same day Cerecs and dental implants.
Everyday presents new opportunities to learn. My hobbies include walking my dogs, cooking and cycling.
Caitlin, Dental Nurse. Graduated from Letterkenny Institute of Technology in 2019. Joined the Ready Steady smiles team in Sunmer 2020.
Interested in all aspects of dentistry especially cosmetic work.
Hobbies include working out and walks on the beach.
Roisin joined the practice full-time after qualifying with a distinction in Dental Nursing in 2018 from LYIT.
She originally completed her two placements at the practice previous to this.
Roisin’s favourite part of the job is chatting to patients & getting to know them & surgical procedures.
On her days off she loves relaxing & loves to travel.
Brigid is one of a trio of Dental Hygienists here at Ready Steady Smiles.
A native of Ardara, she began her dental career as a nurse before moving on to study as a dental hygienist at Trinity College Dublin. She has been with us for over 15 years and has accumulated a substantial loyal patient base over the years.
Over time, her professional patient relationships have been built based on mutual trust and respect. Brigid provides first class treatment to all her patients, both young and old, with compassion and patience. She prides herself in her attention to detail and strict hygiene rules.
Outside of work she enjoys the outdoor life through regular sea swims, cycling, walking and running.
Anne qualified as a Dental Hygienist at the Cardiff Dental Hospital in 1992. She spent the subsequent decade working in London.
Having joined the practice here for over 19 years ago, she needs no formal introduction. Joining in 2001 as the first hygienist, she has built up an extremely loyal patient pool with whom she has a great rapport.
Characterised by her caring and compassionate nature, it goes without saying that her clinical skills are exceptional which she executes with competence and confidence.
Anne is very well regarded among her peers as a source of wisdom and strength. Her professionalism and efficiency are integral to the practice.
Ramona graduated from the University of Ulster having studied Computing with Marketing. From there she worked in Dublin for a number of years before returning to her home county.
Having taken a short break with her young family, she joined the practice in 2011 and has enjoyed working with us over the past 10 years. Ramona works as treatment coordinator alongside Dr Bonner and also provides support to our associate dental surgeons and oral surgeon.
She enjoys the dynamic nature of her role and the challenges of working in an evolving environment.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking and the outdoors.
I have worked on the Reception Desk at Abbeyglebe Dental Practice for almost five years.
My favourite aspect of my job is meeting different people everyday and working with a lovely team.

My name is Saffron Anderson. I am 29 years old and I am from Ballybofey in Co. Donegal.
I have been working at the practice for almost 5 years now. My role is in reception, it is fast pace and there is a lot to do but I enjoy working in this busy environment. My duties include answering calls, making & following up appointments, meeting patients on arrival and taking consultation payments.
Joe and Barbara are a pleasure to work for and all team are really nice. I love going to my work daily and I have to say my favourite part of my job is meeting both the new and returning patients when they come into the clinic.
Barbara joined the practice in 2002 and has enjoyed working as part of the reception team for nearly 20 years. Married to Dr Bonner, she currently manages the day to day running of the practice and is responsible for the efficient operation of our very busy reception.
Barbara is no stranger to customer service as she previously worked in the banking sector for 26 years where she gained a wealth of experience and developed excellent skills in this area.
When she is not at work , Barbara enjoys playing tennis and regular cycling.
Mairead joined the practice in 2014 and has been ever-present since.
Based in our Ballybofey practice, she brings a wealth of experience to the role having been previously employed in the Hospitality sector for 18 years. She has a very calm and reassuring manner with our patients and puts everyone at ease as soon as they come through the door.
